From the Configure Headers dialog box, you can add and delete default header field values for file input with the Barr Spool port. The spool port is used when you define a printer for receiving documents into BARR/SPOOL.
Complete the following steps to add a field value to the default header for incoming documents.
From the Configure Headers dialog box, click Add. The Select Field dialog box displays.
From the drop-down list, select the header section that contains the desired field.
Select the field.
Enter the field value.
If the field is numeric, specify whether the value is in Decimal or Hexadecimal notation.
Click OK. You are returned to the Configure Headers dialog box.
To change the values of header fields you previously set, you must delete the fields and recreate them. Complete the following steps to modify header field values.
From the Configure Headers dialog box, in the Field Name list, select the field to delete.
Click Delete.
Click Add.
From the drop-down list, select the header section that contains the desired field.
Select the field.
Enter the field value.
If the field is numeric, specify whether the value is in Decimal or Hexadecimal notation.
Click OK. You are returned to the Configure Headers dialog box.
Complete the following steps to delete header field values from the default header.
In the Field Name list, select the field to delete.
Click Delete.
