Opening and closing the utility

Make FCB

To open or close the utility, use one of the following methods.

To open the utility

• On the Spool Window menu bar, select Tools | Make FCB.

• From the taskbar, click Start | Programs | Barr Enterprise Print Server | BARR SPOOL | Make FCB Utility.

Make FCB requires the Spool Window to be active. If the Spool Window is not active when you start Make FCB from the Barr Spool program menu, Make FCB will start the Spool Window, which then starts the BARR SpoolCore service.

To close the utility

• On the menu bar, select File | Exit.

• Click the Close button ( ) on the title bar.

• Select Close from the control menu icon.
