To get job attribute information for jobs being received from BARR/Print Ficon, you must extract values from your header banner pages. Extraction from trailer pages is not allowed.
You can use this dialog box to specify the field and position to be extracted. This dialog box can be accessed when you add connections. From the Ficon Banner Configuration dialog box, under Field extraction, click Add to view this dialog box.

Specifies the field you want BARR/Print Ficon to extract. Each field displays a description to help you identify the field and a list of the acceptable values.
Section – Selects the header section from which to extract a field.
Page number – Specifies the page number from which to extract the header field. This value must be within the number of pages specified on the Ficon Recognition Properties dialog box for the header.
Line number – Specifies the line number from which to extract the header field. If you specify a page number of 1, you can enter a positive or negative line number, relative to the line on which the first header page matching string was found. If you specify page number 2 or greater, then the value is relative to the top of that page.
Starting column – Specifies the starting column from which to extract the header field.
Ending column – Specifies the ending column from which to extract the header field.
