group to capture a channel trace.The BARR/CHANNEL-OUT utility runs on the computer where you've installed the BARR/CHANNEL adapter. Use this utility to capture a channel adapter trace.

Complete the following steps to capture a channel adapter trace.
Open the BARR/CHANNEL-OUT utility in the interactive mode.
Select the Tracing
tab. 
Select the adapter for which you want to trace communications.
Click Options
to specify trace buffer options. See the Options
dialog box topic for more information.
From the Tracing tab, click Start to begin capturing trace data.
Recreate the problem.
Click Stop to finish capturing trace data.
Click Save to save the trace file. By default, the file will be saved in the \\Program Files\Common Files\Barr\Trace folder, unless an alternate path was specified on the Options dialog box.
