Printer Groups tab

Configuration Utility

Use this tab to define spool printer groups. Assigning spool printers to groups allows you to route a single spool file to multiple printers. You can access this tab from the Configuration Utility.

Printer groups cannot process SYSIN data.

Changes will not take effect until the BARR SpoolCore service has been restarted. Depending on the nature of the changes, there can be a 20-second delay when restarting the service.

Groups

Lists the defined printer groups. Right-click the Printer Groups column for options.

Add button

Adds a printer group.

Remove button

Removes the selected printer group.

Rename button

Renames the selected printer group.

Copy button

Copies the selected printer group.

Printers

Lists the spool printers defined on the Spool Printers tab. Right-click the Printers column for options.

Select All button

Assigns all listed printers to the selected printer group.

Deselect All button

Removes all listed printers from the selected printer group.
