NJE Configuration dialog box

Use this dialog box to configure your NJE connection. You can access this dialog box when you add or modify an NJE connection using the Communications Profile tab. From the Connection Configuration dialog box, next to NJE Configuration, click Modify.

Connection

Displays the name of the selected NJE connection.

BARR node

Name

Type the Barr node name. The default name is BAR1NJE.

Location

Currently, you cannot change this location.

Host node

Name

Type the host node name. The default name is BAR1JES2.

Type

Selects a host type from the list. The choices are MVS/JES2 and VSE/POWER. If you are using JES3, select MVS/JES2. The default is MVS/JES2. JES3 and POWER do not support sending data to the host.

Advanced button

Specifies advanced node settings. Click to display the Advanced Node Settings dialog box.
