BARR/CHANNEL-IN

To open and close the utility, use one of the following methods.

To open the utility

You can run the utility in either interactive or batch mode.

Interactive Mode – When you run the utility interactively, it displays several tabs with settings you can select. From the taskbar, click Start | Programs | Barr Enterprise Print Server | BARR NJE | Channel In Configuration.

Batch Mode – When you run the utility in batch mode, you can select options by entering commands at the MS-DOS prompt. Complete the following steps to run the utility in batch mode.

1. Open the MS-DOS prompt.

2. Change the directory to the folder where you installed the software files.

3. At the command prompt, type the file name followed by a question mark (CHANICFG ?) and then press ENTER. A list of command options displays.

4. After you review the command options, return to the command prompt.

5. Type the command chanicfg followed by the command line options, and press ENTER.

To close the utility

• Click OK.

• Click Cancel.

• Click the Close button ( ) on the title bar.
