The BARR/CHANNEL-IN utility (CHANICFG)
runs on the computer where you install the BARR/CHANNEL adapter. Use the
utility to install and configure the device driver, perform hardware diagnostics,
and capture a communications trace. You can run the utility in interactive
or batch mode.
The Configuration
tab in BARR/CHANNEL-IN utility is not available for Windows 2000 or Windows
XP users. Windows 2000 and Windows XP provides this functionality through
the Properties tab of the adapter
Properties dialog box in Device
Manager. In Device Manager, click the plus sign (+) next to Barr adapters, right-click the adapter,
and select Properties.
