After you configure your IPDS connections, use the following procedures to start, stop, or restart the IPDS connections.
You must be a member of the local Administrators group to preform these procedures.
Complete the following steps to start IPDS connections.
You can configure the connection to automatically start with Windows startup when you add or modify a connection.
Open BARR/PRINT390 for IPDS.
Select the connection you want to start.
Use one of the following methods to start the selected connection.
On the menu bar, select Connection | Start.
Right-click the connection and select Start.
Complete the following steps to stop IPDS connections.
Open BARR/PRINT390 for IPDS.
Select the connection you want to stop.
Use one of the following methods to stop the selected connection.
On the menu bar, select Connection | Stop.
Right-click the connection and select Stop.
Stopping the connection will stop the data stream The uninterrupted transfer of information over an interface to achieve high data transfer rates.
Complete the following steps to restart IPDS connections.
Open BARR/PRINT390 for IPDS.
Select the connection you want to restart.
Use one of the following methods to restart the selected connection.
On the menu bar, select Connection | Restart.
Right-click the connection and select Restart.
