Use this dialog box to manage output processes. Output process contain a predefined set of actions which impact a document as it is being sent to a destination. Examples include search and replace, setting finishing options, editing PJL commands, inserting overlays, and so on. Output processes can be associated with destinations or documents. If associated with a destination, any document being sent to the respective destination goes through the process. If associated with the document, the process is executed no matter which destination the document goes to.
Output processes are associated with destinations on the destination's More settings tab. Output processes can be associated with the documents by configuring a Source (Output settings tab), or by setting up a business rule.
Use this dialog box to manage the output processes. Click an option you want to learn more about.
Lists all of the defined output process. The Default process can be edited and copied, but cannot be deleted.
New button - Creates a new output process. Output processes are created using the Process Designer.
Edit button - Opens the selected output process for modification. Output processes are modified using the Process Designer.
Delete button - Deletes the selected output process.
Rename button - Allows for renaming the selected output process. You will type the new name directly in the grid.
Copy button - Creates a copy of the selected process. The new profile will be named "Copy of X".
Import button - Allows for importing output processes.
Export button - Allows for exporting output processes.
